30 Washington’s largest hospice care organization, Capital Hospice, will host the “2010 Passion for Caring, Innovation and Progress Gala” to raise funds and awareness for end-of-life issues that hospice care patients face. Dinner, dancing and a silent auction will fete the organization. Auction items include vacation trips, designer jewelry and a private dinner prepared by former White House Chef Walter Scheib. Tickets are $250 per person.
